The People Whisperer Who Makes Work Better

After more than 20 years navigating the transportation industry (a field not exactly famous for its warm and fuzzy compensation practices), Lindsey has mastered the art of creating workplaces where people actually want to show up.

While some compensation folks get caught up in policies and procedures, Lindsey’s superpower has always been seeing the humans behind the employee IDs. She’s built her reputation on genuine connections, whether she’s chatting with truck drivers at 5 AM or helping executives understand why their “open door policy” isn’t working if they keep sighing dramatically when someone walks through it.

Lindsey’s career has been dedicated to growing people—not just checking boxes. Her approach to training doesn’t involve mind-numbing PowerPoints, her leadership development actually develops leaders (imagine that), and her strategic planning connects real business goals to the humans who make them happen.

Her SPHR certification proves she knows her compensation stuff, but it’s her Executive MBA that helps her speak the language of business leaders who might otherwise dismiss “people issues” as soft and fuzzy. Trust us—there’s nothing soft about the ROI she delivers by making workplaces function better.

Beyond the Business Card

When she’s not revolutionizing workplace cultures, Lindsey is busy collecting experiences rather than things. She’s constantly expanding her already impressive circle of friends (her holiday party is legendary), discovering bands you’ll be listening to six months from now, and planning trips to places that aren’t in typical travel guides.

Family time with her husband and son grounds her, while Utah’s mountains and deserts provide the backdrop for recharging her seemingly endless energy.

Lindsey co-founded True North Comp because she believes work doesn’t have to drain people’s souls—and that companies perform better when they don’t. Every day, she proves that being good at business and being good to people are completely compatible goals.
